Bill Cosby has been hit by another sex assault allegation from an actress who once appeared on The Cosby Show.
Lili Bernard, who made an appearance on the comic's popular show in an episode titled Bring Me the Lip Gloss of Deirdre Arpelle in 1992, claims Cosby raped her.
She added her name to the long list of accusers on during a press conference in New York, where she was joined by another woman, who alleged Cosby sexually assaulted her during an interview in his hotel room after he gave her a drink and she lost consciousness.
Her story is similar to that of more than 20 women who have made decades-old allegations against the veteran comedian.
California lawyer Gloria Allred is representing both women.
She says, "Unlike most other states, New Jersey has no statue of limitations for rape, which means that law enforcement is not prevented from prosecuting a case because of an arbitrary time period set by law."
More than 30 women have now come forward with rape, sexual assault and inappropriate behaviour claims against Cosby since last year. The accusations came thick and fast after comedian Hannibal Buress called Cosby a rapist during a stand-up routine.
