Madonna proved she still has the ability to cause a stir on the red carpet at today's Met Gala in New York.
The 57-year-old Queen of Pop, fresh from a huge world tour including her first show in New Zealand, flashed plenty of flesh both in the front and back of her daring Givenchy ensemble.
With its striking headpiece, Madge's look seemed to hark back to the Eastern aesthetic of her Ray Of Light days - but with cut-outs for both her breasts and her butt, it also could've been ripped from the pages of her infamous 1992 SEX book.
Speaking to interviewers on the red carpet, Madonna admitted that her complex ensemble did come with one job hazard: It made it "very hard to pee".
Asked what she was most looking forward to on the night, the Met Gala veteran - she attended her first event in 1997 - quipped, "the bread sticks".
Madonna's developed quite the taste for flashing her butt on the red carpet of late: think of last year's Grammy Awards, when she delivered possibly the world's least accidental 'wardrobe malfunction' and gave the world a glimpse at that famous derrière.
The haters will be out in full force slagging off Madonna's latest look - she knows that more than anyone - but in a year when we've already lost two music icons, there's something kinda comforting in knowing Madonna is still out there causing a stir and refusing to 'act her age'.
