Shapeshifter are going to bring in the New Year with a bang, hitting the road with their new album this summer.
The Kiwi drum and bass favourites are touring off the back of their latest album, Stars, their first since the departure of founding member Devin Abrams, who is now embarking on a solo project.
The tour will follows a three-date mini-tour in November, during which they'll play major venues in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
But the summer tour takes place in December, finishing off on New Year's Eve.
And it's not just any old tour - the boys will take their arena sound outdoors to play some of the country's most scenic locations in Petone Beach, Napier and Riwaka.
Shapeshifter will be accompanied by Ladi6, Sunshine Sound System and The Upbeats, and they'll have extra guests joining their New Year's Eve show, including Kiwi legends Kora.
Shapeshifter will play McEwan Park in Petone Beach on December 27, Napier's Sacred Hill on December 29 and the New Year's show will be at Riwaka's Cooks Reserve.
Tickets for Shapeshifter's summer shows are available from Thursday, October 6. See shapeshiftersummer.live for tickets and details.
