A stocky middle-aged man has been spotted stealing schoolboy's pushbikes.
Six bicycles have been reported stolen from bike racks at Christchurch Boys High School over the last two months.
Today, police released CCTV images of a man seen entering the school.
A black/green Merida mountain bike, a black Kona Kohuna mountain bike and a white/black Merida mountain bike are among those reported stolen.
The security footage indicates the thefts have taken place shortly after lunchtime during the school day.
None of the stolen mountain bikes have yet been recovered.
Police are keen to hear from anyone who recognises the man in the CCTV images or has any information on the whereabouts of the stolen bikes.
